Travis Kelce Reveals He’s a Secret Fan of Love Actually: ‘It’s a Fun One to Watch’

Travis Kelce doesn’t need signs to fall for Love actually!

The Kansas City Chiefs star, 35, revealed in the latest episode of his New heights podcast with brother Jason Kelce that he liked the movie — which is also a favorite of his sister-in-law Kylie Kelce.

“I actually enjoyed it Love actually,” the tight end shared, although he added that he “didn’t feel ‘Christmas’ at all during the movie.”

Jason echoed his sentiments, saying, “I enjoyed the movie. It was fine,” but noted that “there was no Christmas spirit or anything like that.”

Love actually might be the worst Christmas movie I’ve ever seen,” Jason continued. “I don’t even know if that’s up for debate.”

The brothers then talked with Kylie about their favorite plots from the film, which included the storyline between Liam Neeson and Thomas Brodie-Sangster’s characters Daniel and Sam. Jason said he thought it was a “great story”, while Travis said he particularly loved the iconic stamp scene between Mark Andrew Lincoln and Julia Kiera Knightley.

“Cards? That. It’s like an iconic way to do it like the most romantic way to tell someone you’re in love with them,” Travis said.

“What’s crazy is that all of these, like you said, all of these stories tie into one community, and it’s supposed to make it look like this is happening in a community,” he continued. “Like, it’s all different love stories, this is what’s going on around you.”

He went on to explain that while he thought some of the stories seemed “a bit far-fetched”, he thought the overall story was good and had “good values” to convey to viewers.

“He’s fun to watch,” he admitted. “I enjoyed following all the stories.”

Another highlight for the NFL player was “directing.” He shared, “I thought the directing was up there… a lot of the shots were fun… I thought the shots were on, especially in the water with all the papers and everything flying around. I thought that was cute.”

Ultimately, Travis gave the film a three out of ten, noting that while it “had nothing to do with Christmas,” the acting earned it a “solid nine.”

Jason, meanwhile, gave the film a four, while Kylie gave it somewhere between a four and a six.

Travis had revealed this earlier A Christmas story is his favorite vacation movie, especially since it was shot in the same areas where he grew up in Cleveland.

“As a kid in Tower City, I remember going down the slide, I remember going to the mall area,” he said. “Besides, just like the scene outside reminds me of Christmas in Cleveland, a snowy Christmas. I just have that feeling.”

As for Jason, he noticed that his favorites were included Four Christmases, Grinch and Christmas vacation.
