Travis Kelce Reveals His Go-To Date Night Meal When He’s Cooking

Travis Kelce took a peek at his nights out with Taylor Swift.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end, 34, revealed what he likes to cook on a date during a chat with his ex Bachelor star Matt James at Kelce Jam.

“I just recently found out how to make homemade pasta. Like some real noodles, home cooked and everything. So I guess just some noodles with spicy lemon, garlic and shrimp,” Kelce said in a video posted to James’ Instagram and TikTok on Tuesday, June 18. “Shrimp Linguini.”

While he said he doesn’t consider himself a chef, Kelce revealed what Swift, 34, does best at a press conference earlier this month.

“Taylor makes a great pop tart and cinnamon roll,” he said with a cheeky smile.

According to former NFL player Bernie Kosar, Swift’s cinnamon buns are something he regularly enjoyed during football season.

Kosar, 60, recalled eating a pregame meal at Kelce’s house and witnessing Swift bring the tasty treat to attendees during an interview on Audacy’s AM 560 Sports WQAM last December.

“It was at his house about three hours before the game. We have a pregame meal and Taylor is so nice to come by herself and she’s so cool, she brings, she made her homemade cinnamon buns for Travis for the pregame meal,” Koser said .

Swift’s pop pies are also something Chiefs head coach Andy Reid said Swift has “fitted in” with Kelce’s teammates.

“Somehow behind the scenes, she, to fit in – she didn’t even know she was doing it, I don’t think – likes to cook, so she made these homemade pop cakes for the offensive linemen. So she knew exactly where to go,” he said. Reid, 66, during an interview at the NFL Scouting Combine.

It’s no surprise that the two like to cook together, as Kelce’s mom, Donna, previously told PEOPLE that he and his brother, Jason, “ate a lot” as kids.
