Travis Kelce Says Taylor Swift ‘Looked Amazing’ at His Game, Says It’s ‘Definitely’ One He’ll Remember

The world couldn’t take its eyes off Taylor Swift at Sunday’s Kansas City Chiefs game, and neither could Travis Kelce.

The Chiefs tight end, 33, opened up about his night with headline-making Swift, 33, for the first time on Wednesday’s episode of his podcast, New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce presented by Wave Sports + Entertainment.

“Man, that was a crazy game,” Travis told his brother and co-host, Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce, of Sunday night’s 41-10 loss to the Chicago Bears.

“It was just action-packed,” he said, calling the game “exciting” for more reasons than just the Chiefs’ win.

“Shouts Taylor for stopping. That was pretty cheeky,” Travis said, adding of the singer, “She looked amazing.”

As for how he felt watching Swift celebrate her win — and her touchdown — with her mom, Donna Kelce, in her suite, Travis said, “Seeing the slow-mo chest shots, seeing the high fives with mom, seeing how, you know , Chiefs Royalty was excited to have her there — that s— was absolutely hysterical and it was definitely a game I’ll remember, that’s for damn sure.”

The cherry on top — aside from the Chiefs’ win — was that Swift made a great impression on Travis’ family and friends. “I just thought it was great how everyone in the suite had nothing but great things to say about her — friends and family,” he said, adding that “everyone spoke of her in a great light.”

It was the first time Swift met Travis’ parents, a source told PEOPLE, and it went smoothly. “Everyone enjoyed it. She was super cool and reserved hanging out with his friends and family.”

The NFL star thanked the singer again for attending the game later in the episode, saying, “Shout out to Taylor for coming and seeing me rock the stage.”

While Sunday night’s match marked the first time Travis and Swift have been seen together in public, it wasn’t their first time hanging out, a source told PEOPLE. The pair are still in the “super, super early days” of dating, but “they’re having fun.”

After the game, they spent time together at a restaurant that Travis “rented” for his friends and family.

“They were sweet and normal, just hanging out and chatting,” the source added of the couple’s behavior.

For now, though, they’re going slow. “They just hang out and there’s no pressure.”

As for their plans for the future, Travis was tight-lipped on the podcast as he told his brother, “What’s real is, you know, it’s my personal life and I want to respect both of our lives,” adding that he doesn’t intend to talk about him and Swift in future episodes.
