Travis Kelce’s Trainer Says He Is ‘Coming Back’ for Offseason Training, Says ‘Maybe’ to Working with Taylor Swift

Travis Kelce’s NFL season isn’t over yet, but his personal trainer is already looking ahead to the offseason.

Andrew Spruill, a personal trainer in Boca Raton, Florida who owns Game Speed Trainer, told Florida Outlet The Palm Beach Post Kelce, 34, on Thursday rented a house in the area for two months to work with him for seven of the past 11 NFL offseasons — and expects Kelce to return for another one this winter.

“According to him, he’s coming back,” Spruill said of Kelce, who has started for the Kansas City Chiefs in all 14 of the team’s games so far this season. “I went up there for two games to see him. I believe he will come back, especially if he wants to continue playing at his age. He has to go to the gym and make sure he’s ready.”

Kelce’s highly successful NFL career came to a halt this season when he began a high-profile romance with Taylor Swift. If Swift, 34, decides to join Kelce in Boca Raton during any breaks on the upcoming international leg of her Eras Tour, Spruill told the outlet that she may have something to offer the pop star after Kelce recently introduced the pair.

“I’ll see her next month,” Spruill said of the “Style” singer. “I met her twice. Maybe I can talk to her about her exercise routine and see if she needs help. I read where she talked about it, the different things she does to exercise. He has a workout routine where he runs on the treadmill and sprints while trying to sing his songs.”

Spruill’s comments come as Kelce and the Chiefs prepare to play the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday; The defending Super Bowl champions are still trying to clinch a spot in the NFL playoffs. The trainer, whose company website identifies him as an Air Force veteran who has worked with hundreds of professional athletes in his career, said Fast that he believes Kelce’s injuries have played a role in diminishing his personal success on the court this year.

“He started injured and missed the first game. Two days before the game, he hyperextended his knee in training. He’s already started with an injury that he’s never dealt with,” Spruill said. “He’s been as healthy as you can be for an NFL player in his career. The rookie year he missed, but he hasn’t missed a game until this year.”
