Tushar Kalia was born on March 7 in Chandigarh. Tushar completed his education from DAV Pushpaanjali, Delhi and Ryan International School, Noida. To further his studies, he went to Delhi University. He served as one of the judges on the show “Dance Deewane” aired on the Colors channel.

Profession
Tushar Kalia started his dance career under the guidance of Shri Santosh Nair, Creative Director of “Sadia Performing Arts Unit”. He was trained in Ariel Technique Dance under the tutelage of Canadian choreographer Brandy Leary. Before becoming a Bollywood choreographer, Tushar worked in a company organizing shows around the world. Tushar’s real rise to fame was as a choreographer in the sixth season of the show Jhalak Dhikla Ja alongside actress Ekta Kaul, but was eliminated within the first few weeks of the reality show. He later returned as a wild card in the same season as actress Sana Saeed.
He appeared in the seventh season of Jhalak Dhikla Ja along with dancer Shakti Mohan.
Tushar got his breakthrough in Bollywood after starring in “Jhalak Dhikla Ja” and worked as the choreographer for Karan Johar’s song “Ae Dil Hai Mushkil”.
He has choreographed music videos for films such as Yrf (Yaarmananani), Half Girlfriend, Qareeb Qareeb Single, Ok Jaanu, Hate Story IV and Dhadak (2018). On September 25, 2022, he became the winner of the Khatron Ke Khiladi 12 competition hosted by Rohit Shetty.
