Tyreek Hill Jokes Travis Kelce Is Now ‘Too Famous’ to Answer His Text

Wide receiver Tyreek Hill is having trouble connecting with his former teammate Travis Kelce.

While available to the media ahead of Saturday’s Wild Card game between the Miami Dolphins and the Kansas City Chiefs, Hill jokingly told reporters that the tight end — who is dating Taylor Swift — is “too famous” to talk to.

“I texted Kelce,” Hill, 29, said Thursday. “He still hasn’t texted me back.”

The former Chiefs player then added: “He’s probably still on his Taylor Swift thing… but yeah, man, those guys are too famous for me now, I guess.”

Hill was already successful in Kansas City where his relationship with quarterback Patrick Mahomes was on track to break records. Over six years, the duo combined for 6,630 yards and 56 touchdowns.

This season, Hill has grabbed headlines off the field as well. Last fall, he found time to marry Keeta Vaccaro.

But the two-alarm fire at Hill’s Southwest Ranches, Fla., home earlier this month — which was determined to be caused by a child playing with a lighter — kept the athlete in perspective.

“It’s over. The house is over, bro,” Hill told his Dolphins teammates in footage that aired on HBO Heavy blows. “Smoke damage, fire damage. The whole floor was burnt. It’s okay though.”
