Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk official scorecards revealed as fans slam ’embarrassing’ judges

FIGHT fans have called the judges “disgraceful” after seeing the scores for Oleksandr Usyk’s win over Tyson Fury.

Usyk, 37, ended Fury’s (35) unbeaten streak on Saturday at the Kingdom Arena in Saudi Arabia after a 12-round thriller to become the undisputed champion.

The Ukrainian extended his astonishing unbeaten streak to 22 wins and handed the Gypsy King his first defeat in 36 fights by split decision.

The scores in Riyadh read 115-112 for Usyk, 114-113 for Fury and 114-113 for the eventual winner.

Based on the card, the Ukrainian heavyweight won the first, seventh, eighth, ninth, 10th, 11th and 12th rounds.

On the other hand, Fury won in the second, third, fourth, fifth and sixth rounds.

However, some fans were not satisfied with the results and condemned the referees on social media.

One boxing enthusiast tweeted: “Usyk won 1,2,8,9,10,11,12 and was 10-8 in 9. Embarrassed the judges but didn’t surprise.”

Another commented: “ONE REF SAID FURY WON, WTF?”

A third wrote: “SPLIT DECISION???”

This one said: “Usyk robbed, it should have been the decision of the majority.”

And he stated: “It’s ridiculous to think that ONE judge gave Fury the win.”

While some fans were furious at the scores, there was no indication that the referees were inappropriate.

Usyk, who was very emotional after the fight, says he expects to go to the rematch.

The Ukrainian said: “Thank you so much my team, my God, Jesus.

“Mr. Excellency, thank you, this is a great opportunity for me, for my family.

About a potential rematch, Usyk added: “Of course, I’m ready. We’ll have another good fight.”

Fury also confirmed that he plans to exercise his rematch clause by October.

The British boxing star said: “I’ll be back, I have a rematch clause.”

Fury added: “Sure, we’re coming back. Get some rest, spend some time with my family and we’ll be back in October.”
