Tyson Fury’s next big fight is against the tax man – after the champ & his dad John are accused of dodging massive bill

BOXER Tyson Fury faces another fight – over an £82,000 council tax bill.

Cheshire East Council claims the heavyweight champion, 35, his father John, 59, and brother Shane, 32, owe the amount on the property attached to their £1million mansion in Styal.

Magistrates today are ready to issue a legal order to demand payment from them.

If the three still can’t cough it up, they could face “enforcement proceedings” — meaning the hapless bailiff could have the unenviable task of recovering assets from the boxing family.

Married father-of-seven Tyson, aka The Gypsy King, is 6ft 9in tall.

John is a 6ft 3in former professional boxer and bare-knuckle fighter, who once went to jail for gouging a man’s eye out.

Shane is a former amateur super heavyweight boxer.

Tyson also has other boxer brothers, including Love Island star Tommy, 24.

The council tax claim relates to land used for caravans and caravans alongside the family’s £1 million mansion in Styal, Cheshire.

Court documents claim the Furies – together worth more than £134m – failed to pay £82,166.85 to Cheshire East Council.

Land registry documents show that Tyson, Shane and John own the house and land.

John lives in a gated estate, while Tyson is in Morecambe, Lancs.

Solicitor Sarah Robson, fixed costs specialist at Alpha Court Chambers, said: “Often, people first realize that a liability order has been granted when bailiffs are sent.

“Cases are often sent to judges in batches of hundreds, sometimes thousands, and are rubber-stamped without proper review.”

The Furys are not expected to appear in court today. A representative for Tyson declined to comment.
