United Airlines Creates Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce-Themed Flight Numbers for Super Bowl

United Airlines is paying special tribute to Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift during this year’s Super Bowl!

On Sunday, the airline announced six nonstop flights between Kansas City, Missouri and Las Vegas for the game — and each one has a special flight number created to honor the couple who kissed on the field after the Kansas City Chiefs’ AFC Championship win on Sunday

Among the listed new flight numbers is UA 1989, which “Swifties” will immediately recognize as the name of the singer’s re-recorded album “Karma” in 2014 and 2023. The UA 2287 is also listed as a nod to Swift’s 2012 hit “22” and Kelce’s jersey number “87.”

The third flight number added is UA 1587, which combines the jersey numbers of Kelce and Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

United added six flights to the Super Bowl with numbers honoring Swift and Kelce.

“These special flights will allow direct flights for more than 1,000 Kansas City fans to arrive in Vegas to cheer on the Chiefs,” the airline said in a statement.

“United has the largest Super Bowl schedule ever this year, adding a total of more than 40 special flights, which will help 14,000 more fans across the country get to the big game.”

Fans can now secure their flight tickets ahead of the big game on United.com and in the United app.

On Sunday, the singer was seen celebrating in the stands at M&T Bank Stadium after the Chiefs’ 17-10 win against the Baltimore Ravens, as she was joined by friends and family.

Kelce and Swift also shared a celebratory kiss on the court after the game as they were surrounded by teammates and cameras in a sweet moment.

In his speech afterward, Kelce looked excited after his team’s big win as he quoted the Beastie Boys’ lyrics “You gotta fight/ for your right/ to party” — the same line he repeated last year after winning the 2023 Super Bowl — as he addressed to friends, family and girlfriend Swift.

Since announcing their romance last year, Swift has attended 12 NFL Chiefs games in support of boyfriend Kelce, the first of which was on September 24. The Chiefs won nine games and lost just three times with the singer in attendance.
