Summer vacation at UP lasts until July 2

UP School Summer Vacation: UP School Summer Vacation has been extended until July 2, 2023. According to reports, the Uttar Pradesh state government has decided to extend the summer break at schools under conditions severe weather.

According to the previously announced schedule, schools were supposed to reopen on June 27, 2023, but currently schools will reopen on July 3, 2023. schools were brought up in a meeting chaired by UP CM Yogi Adityanath.

The summer vacation extension will apply to both public and private schools in the state. The Uttar Pradesh Board of Primary Education has notified all district primary education departments to ensure that schools remain closed until July 2, 2023. Officials have extended the summer break. to support children and save them from the possibility of heatstroke.

Uttar Pradesh along with many other parts of the country is seeing extreme heat conditions due to extreme heat. The official order issued also states that adequate cleanliness of toilets, drinking water facilities and seating arrangements for students must be ensured before schools reopen.

The official order also states that the School Board will be empowered to make decisions about summer vacations at accredited schools governed by the board.

As stated, this is the second time UP has extended its summer break. Schools were scheduled to reopen on June 15, 2023, then extended until June 25, 2023, and finally July 2, 2023.
