Vanessa Lachey is celebrating a milestone in her daughter’s life — the day she became a true Taylor Swift fan!
The NCIS: Hawaii The alum, 43, marked one year since she and her daughter Brooklyn, 9, went on Swift’s Eras Tour together with an Instagram post shared on Saturday, August 3.
“One year ago today, ‘Swiftie’ was born!” Vanessa began the title of her post. “Brooklyn really didn’t understand the impact of her music and had never been to a stadium concert! I’ll never forget the look in her eyes.”

At the concert at the SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, Brooklyn wore a multi-colored combination and brown boots, while Love is blind the co-host wore denim overalls. The mother-daughter duo accessorized with matching denim jackets emblazoned with “Lachey” on the back in white and gold and embellished with star fabric.
Vanessa’s husband, Nick Lachey, ushered mother and daughter into the stadium in one of the photos. The trio had their backs to the camera and tailored denim jackets were on display.

The photo carousel also featured candid shots of Brooklyn in the stadium atmosphere.
“She respected the artistry, the lights, the musical vibes, the storytelling and the colors,” Vanessa wrote of her daughter’s reaction.

The Netflix personality explained that watching Swift’s performance sparked conversations about work ethic and success between her and Brooklyn.
Vanessa said she’s also seen her daughter become more serious about her guitar lessons after watching Swift, even though she started the hobby before watching the show.
“She felt the love for music that Nick and I share… she was just in awe,” the former MTV host added. “As her mom, I love this little musical journey we have together!”

The mother of three mentioned her husband’s band 98 Degrees at the end of her title.
“Also can’t wait for her first boyband crush!!!” Vanessa said of Brooklyn. “Got you B and following the band tour with you! Haha! #BandAids 😏❤️.”
Vanessa also thanked PEOPLE and SoFi, who co-hosted Swift’s pre-concert party, for helping make the mother-daughter memory a reality.
Vanessa and Nick (50), who celebrated 13 years of marriage in July, also have sons Camden (11) and Phoenix (7).

In June 2024, all five Lacheys took part in the Eras Tour in London.
“So many key memories were made,” Vanessa wrote in the caption at the time. “Thank you @taylorswift for an amazing night we will all remember. (Especially me and Brooklyn!)”
“Watching my entire family glow and share our love of music and dance with you for hours will forever be my favorite moment,” she continued. “These last two days in London filled our cups! Lots of music, family and LOVE. Now… the way home. 🫶🏽.”
