The vicar who held the funeral reception attended by Prince William and Prince Harry says he does not remember the brothers speaking to each other.
Reverend Dan Tansey of St Mary’s Church also revealed what they both told him at yesterday’s ceremony.

The royal siblings attended the service to mark the death of Lord Robert Fellowes, who was their mother Diana’s brother-in-law.
It was held under a 175-foot steeple at the 650-year-old St Mary’s Church, which King Charles has already visited while staying at Sandringham.
Reverend Tansey told The Sun: “I was getting ready half an hour before the service so I didn’t see anyone come through the door.
“When I give the service, I wear glasses, so I can see my papers, but I can’t make out faces beyond the front row.

“It was a lovely service and there were a lot of people who wanted to be there for someone who is really well-respected in the village.
“Just as I was greeting the community on my way out, Prince William shook my hand, and very soon after that, Prince Harry.
“It was a surprise, but really a very pleasant surprise that they both came.
“We have already seen Prince William in the village.
“If he was going to be there, I didn’t expect to be told because I would have had to keep it quiet for weeks beforehand.

“It wasn’t a huge shock that William was there, as it was always a possibility, but I guess it was more of a surprise that Harry came.”
He went on to say: “On leaving, they both thanked me for their service, and I thanked them for coming.
“There was a very relaxed and cordial atmosphere at the reception afterwards.
“I don’t remember them talking to each other, but there were a lot of family members and friends talking to them.
“It would mean a lot to Lord Robert if they were both in service as I know he and his aunt are both very fond of them.”
Reverend Tansey said this gathering was not a funeral, but a memorial service.
A small, private funeral is believed to have been held earlier, although it is not known whether William or Harry were present at the earlier event.
Around 300 people from the village and beyond are believed to have attended the service on Thursday to show their support.
A worker at Snettisham Cricket Club – where Lord Fellowes watched the matches every Saturday – told the Sun the service was not heavily advertised in the village and he only found out the next day by reading in the news.
Mike, who declined to give his last name, added: “He used to come here every weekend to watch, always alone.
“I know that (the memorial) was for the villagers, but we didn’t even know about it.”
