Indian Matchmaking Season 2
In 2022, he appeared in the second season of Indian Matchmaking, where the matchmaker Sima Taparia introduced two girls to him. First, he met Mosum Parikh, a 30-year-old Gujarati girl from Brooklyn with a degree in finance. Vinesh and his family decided to meet Mosum and after having similar thoughts about parent relationship, career and family, they gave permission for Vinesh and Mosum to go out on a date with his brother and sister-in-law. By the end of the date, Mosum felt connected to him and wanted to continue the conversation, but Vignesh didn’t think so. Although he took her phone number at the end of the date, he told her family that he was not physically attracted to her. He was even attacked on social media for his rude and judgmental behavior.

The second girl he met was nurse Meena Rai. Vinesh felt a connection with her from the beginning but she didn’t show any interest in him and didn’t want to have a relationship with him. In an interview, when asked why he decided to appear in the second season of “Indian Matchmaking”, he replied:
I’ve tried a lot of apps, meeting girls in bars, etc., but nothing I’ve done in the past has brought me long-term success. I watched the show and was very interested – considering Auntie Sima’s track record, I thought it would be fruitful to give it a try and treat it as a life-changing adventure. I’m single and willing to try new things to find my partner – my goal is to find a wife and possibly start a family if she wants. Additionally, I’m always challenging myself to be open to new experiences, and if something seems exciting and new, but also a little scary, I’m willing to say yes if I have the ability. ”
When asked what it was like to be on the show and whether he would be willing to return next season, he replied:
This is really nerve-wracking. Obviously this is something I’ve never done before. But it was an incredible experience. I don’t know if I’ll go back – I’ll have to talk to my family and think about it. It’s a little scary to go on a very personal journey like this that’s “open to the public.” But working with everyone on the show was incredible – definitely creating lifelong friendships (even though that’s not what I wanted). I promised myself I would be as authentic as possible, but a lot of nervousness would take over and I was a little shy. I think I laughed a lot on the show, which is part of my character, but a lot more than usual, and a lot of it was to relieve anxiety. I say “like” a lot, which definitely means I’m not as comfortable as I’d like to be… (like) there’s a giant camera on my face! It’s hard to hear yourself talking on a Zoom call, let alone hear yourself talking on TV on WATCH. So maybe I calmed myself down a bit before going on air with a meditation practice. ”
