SHOCKING footage has shown the terrifying moment a leopard attacked a group of friends on a picnic.
Onlookers captured the horrifying scene as the predator unexpectedly pounced on around 60 people and mauled their friends in Shahdol, Madhya Pradesh state, India.

Three people were injured in this shocking incident.
Terrifying footage showed the moment a leopard jumped out of the trees in the park on October 20.
This predator jumped on its first victim, reportedly named Akash Kushwaha, 23, while one man was seen falling to the ground, the Times of India reports.
While this man was injured, another person was seen running away from the leopard and the fallen man.

A group of about four men then rushed back to help the injured victim.
The video ended abruptly after the leopard walked away from the park visitors.
The predator also attacked an off-duty police officer and a woman, local media reported.
These two victims reportedly suffered severe head injuries in the incident, the Times of India reports.
Before the attack, the group was heard calling out to the animal as they shouted “come, come”.
Their laughter turned into terrifying screams as the predator charged the group from the trees.

Other members of the crowd suffered minor injuries during the mad dash from the animal.
This horrifying video isn’t the only animal attack caught on camera recently.
A 23-year-old man, Takuma Goto, believed he was “going to die” after being attacked by a dolphin.
Goto was the latest victim of Japan’s recent dolphin sexual assault problem.
The victim suffered large bite marks on his body.
Goto had to be hospitalized and received five stitches after suffering a bloody cut on his finger.
This comes after experts discovered that several of these attacks were linked to a dolphin named Suzu.
Suzu has been accused of 18 incidents this year and is known for chasing visitors in the water in search of love.
