Jason Momoa may have just fallen in love – with a motorcycle.

PEOPLE got an exclusive first look at the latest episode On the bum season 1 (premiering Thursday on Max), in which viewers follow Momoa on his latest venture across the country to meet the skilled creators of the things he loves. In the clip above, Momoa, a motorcycle enthusiast, shops for a bike until the perfect pair catches his eye.

“All of a sudden I see this one and I just knew it was the one. Original Brough Superior paint,” he says as he walks over to admire the bike.

The Aquaman Star then explains why finding a motorcycle like this is a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

“The thing about these bikes is that once you paint them, that’s it. There is no going back to the original. To find one like this, beaten up, but the real deal — it’s almost unheard of. That’s so rare.”

Discovery

As he sits on the bike and touches the Brough Superior logo, he thinks about how the bike is probably 100 years old and how it has “seen” a lot. Letting out a laugh, the father of two adds, “I’ll be the first Hawaiian to drive a Brough.”

As the touching scene draws to a close, the actor reveals, “I fell in love with that Brough, so I brought it back to LA to see if my friend Nick could get it going again.”

During an exclusive interview with PEOPLE in January, Game of Thrones alum talked about a trip to North Carolina to witness skilled motorcycle builders work on historic motorcycles. He ended up going with a custom-made pastel pink bike based on an antique model. Even though it’s shiny and new, he told PEOPLE that he’s not just keeping it as a collector’s item.

“I drove it yesterday. Tomorrow I’m going to drive it with my friends. Looks good, doesn’t it?”

He also revealed how much the cinematic documentary series — which has already been renewed for a second season — means to him.

“That’s me on the road and all the things I like to do. And all the things I’ve never done in my life, but wanted to do,” he says.
