Watch Justin Timberlake’s Alter Ego — and a Dark Angel — Torture Him in the ‘No Angels’ Music Video

Justin Timberlake shows his dark side.

On Friday, Timberlake released the music video for “No Angels” off his sixth studio album Everything I thought it was.

In the music video, which was directed by Ti West, Timberlake (43) enters a mysterious building that turns into a club and is captivated by a woman on the dance floor. Once he gets to her, they start dancing together and something dark begins to happen.

The woman scratches his face and everyone on the dance floor seems to turn into evil creatures with completely white eyes. Then, a confused Timberlake encounters the first woman standing on an elevated surface and unleashes her giant wings as dark liquid oozes from her mouth.

Timberlake is then knocked down and the crowd continues to dance around him as the camera zooms out to show the set of the music video. Another Timberlake, who appears to be the director of the music video, says, “It’s final,” and thanks the crew for their work.

While walking out of the building to his car, Timberlake opens the trunk and chokes Timberlake on the dance floor. His alter ego closes the trunk and gets into the front seat to drive away—and a dark angel appears beside him. Then, he discovers that he has the same stark white eyes as her.

“No Angels” is one of 18 songs on Timberlake’s new album. The “Suit & Tie” singer revealed the tracklist on a giant billboard in Los Angeles, and the penultimate track, titled “Paradise,” features his *NSYNC bandmates.

To mark the album’s release on Friday, the “SexyBack” singer shared behind-the-scenes photos from the cover shoot on Instagram.

“My sixth studio album Everything I thought it was out at midnight (ET). This album is the culmination of where I’ve been and where I’m going – and I’m so grateful, nervous and excited to bring it out into the world for all of you,” he wrote. “Thank you for your love, it really means a lot to me 🫶🏻”

He celebrated the album’s release on Wednesday with a free one-night stand for fans in Los Angeles and surprised fans by bringing out his *NSYNC bandmates for a special performance, the first time the entire group has performed together live since the 2013 VMAs.

Next up, the “My Love” singer will embark on his Forget Tomorrow World Tour, which kicks off April 29 in Vancouver, Canada.
