After much criticism and trolling, the politician finally broke her silence and addressed the issue.
Leaked video of Millicent Omang has sparked outrage online
Yes, you are right, we are talking about the viral video of Millicent Omang, the Chief Administrative Secretary (CAS) of the Department of Homeland Security, breaking her silence on the subject. She spoke about it after the alleged private video of her went viral last night. Through her social media page, she quoted a Bible verse that talks about the Almighty telling his individuals that she has given them strength and that nothing can hurt them. The politician wrote: “Look, I have given you the order to step on scorpions, snakes and all the forces of the enemy and nothing will ever hurt you.”
Looking from the side, the viral video shows CAS in bed wearing a dress similar to the one she wore in one of the tree planting projects. It is not known who uploaded this video to the Internet and who recorded it. It is also unclear if the video is a deepfake created by someone with bad intentions and went viral on the web. There are many people who condemn the behavior of a person who sits in a special and powerful place, however, some of her followers defend her, claiming that it was a secret plot to destroy or damage the name of Oman.
It is obvious that the haters of a politician are spreading fake news and that is why her followers demand justice for her, while some want the authenticity of the viral video. We all know that leaking someone’s private moments, as well as digital information on the web, is a crime or illegal. Such a law is part of the Computer Misuse and Cyber Crime Act 2018, which was passed by a former president named Uhuru Kenyatta.
