Waste was contained in newly laid sewer pipes before a maelstrom of excrement erupted in Nanning, China.
It spewed an incredible 33 feet of excrement into the air like a geyser and splattered it across the highway.
Surveillance camera footage showed a rising orange cloud appear before the balls of feces hit the driver’s windshield.
Unsuspecting pedestrians were drenched in human waste as they walked down the avenue, with footage showing some on bicycles forced to ride through the squalor.
Several vehicles were damaged, and one driver reportedly complained: “I’m wet, my car was sprayed with yellow paint.
— It was destroyed.
Pictures revealed the aftermath of a “poo-canoe” that left behind a sea of poo.
A pipe burst on the section of the road where work was being carried out on September 24 around 11 a.m.
Authorities revealed that no one was injured in the explosion, but the blast was so powerful that the excavator overturned on the spot.
It is assumed that the rupture occurred while engineers were carrying out a pressure test during the laying of sewer pipes.
Officials rushed to the scene to carry out a major clean-up operation after the blast.

Local authorities are reportedly investigating its causes to prevent similar incidents in the future.
One local said, “You can almost smell this video.”
It comes just a month after millions of dead fish washed up along the coast of the picturesque Greek city and the stench was so bad that tourists refused to eat out.
Images from Volos, in the central Greek region of Thessaly, showed floating carcasses forming a silvery blanket over the harbour.
The stench was so alarming that locals and authorities rushed to collect the fish before it reached tourist hotspots.
Trawlers were deployed to collect more than 40 tonnes of dead fish before dumping it in the back of their trucks.
But the restaurants were affected by the smell of rotting fish, which was so strong and the sight so disgusting that no one wanted to visit it.
The local outlet Neos Kosmos adds that tourists no longer enjoy coffee in the port, where a thick blanket of fish has formed.
