BOXING world champion Oleksandr Usyk was dramatically led away in handcuffs as footage showed him being detained at the airport.
Usyk is being held in Krakow, believed to be on his way to London for Anthony Joshua’s clash with Daniel Dubois at Wembley Stadium on Saturday.

The Ukrainian later revealed that it was all a big misunderstanding and that he was actually released.
He said on social media: “All is well my friends. There was a misunderstanding that was quickly resolved.
“Thank you to everyone who was concerned. Thanks to the Ukrainian diplomats for their support.
“And respect for Polish police officers who perform their duties despite their height, weight, arm span and regalia.”
His promoter Alex Krassyuk told SunSport: He was not arrested. There was a misunderstanding. He is free now.
It came after Usyk’s wife Yekaterina shared the footage on her Instagram page and said her embattled husband was not in legal trouble.
She wrote: “Everything is ok, everything is fine!!!
“Alexander will explain everything later!!! nothing to be criminal … Good night everyone!!!”
His friend and coach Serge Lapin added: “Don’t worry, everything is fine. The customs control service is neglecting its duties.”

Everyone outside of Russia and Morecambe was cheering for OLEKSANDR USYKA to win his Undisputed clash with Tyson Fury.
The 37-year-old Ukrainian icon has spent time on her nation’s front lines supporting submissive soldiers against Putin’s savages
And he agreed to continue the professional fight only when his compatriots in the draft begged him.
He beat Daniel Dubois in a stadium in Wroclaw full of Ukrainians who had fled there for safety.
And he recently visited London to help the Ukrainian embassy send a convoy of vehicles to help his battered siblings.
He should return to our capital to be at ringside for the twice dominated Anthony Joshua taking on Dubois.
He would receive a huge cheer from all 96,000 fans for his bravery in and out of the ring.
It seems unlikely that he was detained for anything related to his behavior.
And they are much more likely to go along with the strict travel rules implemented in Eastern European regions.
The gap-toothed southern genius hated to leave his four kids and wife so he wouldn’t be at a boys’ drink with too many beers at the airport Wetherspoons.
So let’s hope the modern day hero – of Olympic gold and undisputed cruiserweight and heavyweight glory – is safely at Wembley or returning home soon.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky later confirmed that Usyk had been released after being detained.
He announced on Telegram: “I spoke on the phone with Oleksandr Usyk when he was detained.

“I am outraged by this attitude towards our citizen and champion.
“He ordered the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andriy Sibiza and the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Igor Klimenko to immediately find out all the details of the incident at the Krakow airport.
– As soon as I received the notification that everything was fine, our champion was released and no one is holding him back.
Usyk (37) is coming off the biggest win of his career after defeating Tyson Fury (36) to become the undisputed champion.
But his reign as the first undisputed four-belt heavyweight champion didn’t last long.
Usyk was forced to vacate the IBF belt to pursue a rematch against Fury on December 21 in Saudi Arabia.
Dubois, 26, instead inherited the title after being elevated from interim champion and makes his first defense against Joshua, 34.
Usyk was due to fly to London to watch Joshua’s All-British showdown against Dubois on Saturday.
And the Ukrainian hero faced an awkward reunion with Fury as both were scheduled for a fan event at Boxpark Wembley.
Both men will participate in meet and greets with fans at what has been billed as an “official pre-fight party” just hours before the bout.
