Nicole Kidman’s acceptance speech at the 49th AFI Lifetime Achievement Awards included a hilarious speech from Morgan Freeman.

PEOPLE has an exclusive clip from the upcoming 49th AFI Lifetime Achievement Award: Tribute to Nicole Kidman special, filmed during the ceremony on Saturday, April 27, which gives an insight into Freeman’s colorful choice of language.

“I’m here to say that I’ve sat in that chair and I know exactly what’s going through your mind,” began Freeman, who himself was honored at the 39th annual ceremony.

“You mean, ‘American Film Institute? The highest honor for a film career? Me?’ And you also think, with that beautiful smile, ‘F—— A,'” he added, causing the crowd to burst into laughter.

“That’s what you think, right? And we’re here to prove it, so let’s get started,” Freeman continued as Kidman smiled as she covered the ears of her 15-year-old daughter, Sunday Rose. The video ends with Freeman’s passionate singing Moulin Rouge‘Your Song’.

Freeman, 87, was one of Kidman’s former costars who were present at the ceremony to help present her with an AFI Lifetime Achievement Award.

After Kidman took the stage, she opened up about the “privilege” she gets to make movies.

“And it’s wonderful that I’ve made movies and television with these storytellers who let me go wild and free and play all these unconventional women. Thank you for making me better at my craft and giving me a place, however temporary, in this world,” Kidman said during her speech. “Thank you for inviting me into your film families. Thank you for making my childhood dream come true.”

In addition to Sunday, the actress attended the ceremony with her husband Keith Urban and their daughter Faith Margaret (13).

For the event, Kidman wore a sleek gold Balenciaga look from the Fall ’24 collection paired with black Balenciaga loafers. She wore side parted strawberry blonde hair with loose waves, a smokey eye, rose blush and pink lips.
