Jeremy Allen White and Harris Dickinson take on the roles of Kevin’s brothers, Kerry and David, as three wrestling champion siblings who deal with family struggles and try to live up to their father’s expectations in and out of the ring.

Iron Claw tells “the true story of the inseparable Von Erich brothers, who made history in the intensely competitive world of professional wrestling in the early 1980s,” according to the official synopsis for the film. “Through tragedy and triumph, under the shadow of their domineering father and coach, the brothers seek larger-than-life immortality on the sport’s grandest stage.”
The film, which was first announced in June 2022 and began filming in October 2022, also stars Lily James, Maura Tierney and Harris Dickinson.

Efron, 35, was first spotted on the set of the new film in October 2022, showing off his muscular physique and new hairstyle while wearing just a towel around his waist. White, 32, shares a s Esquire in May that he and Efron bulked up for the roles by “never stopping” eating, and White said Baywatch the actor made the process look easy.
“Zac is a maniac,” the Bear actor said of his co-star. “He’s so focused and knowledgeable about training, nutrition, all of that. In terms of physical transformation, I think he blew us all out of the water. She looks really amazing in this thing.”

White, on the other hand, wasn’t a fan of the experience, saying that consuming that much food was “really gross.”
“You try to consume as much as you can and, to be honest, you don’t feel great,” Shameless alum discovered at that time. “I’ve been training too, but, I don’t know, trying to get that big, that’s no way to live.”
Iron Claw it’s in theaters on December 22.
