Clarin, Argentina’s largest newspaper, published the pictures alongside a report that said: “Damage and drugs in the hotel room where Liam Payne stayed in Buenos Aires.”
The singer has been open about his struggles with addiction in the past.
But police are yet to confirm what substances were found in the room and will be testing them soon.

Argentine police said staff reported an “aggressive man who may be under the influence of drugs or alcohol.”
Witnesses at the hotel reported that Liam had to be brought back to the room, TMZ writes.
Recordings of the front desk manager’s 911 calls show them reporting “a guest destroying everything in his room.”
In another call for help, the receptionist said: “We urgently need to send someone because I don’t know if the guest’s life is in danger.
“They must be in the room that has a balcony. And well, we’re a little worried that he’s going to do something, that he’s going to risk his life.”
Liam was found dead in the inner courtyard of the hotel at around 5pm local time (9pm UK time).
