Welcome to Plathville: Moriah Reveals She's Back with Her Ex but Ethan Is Furious and Asks 'You Got Any Bail Money?'

Moriah Plath drops a big bombshell on the family ahead of their big concert.

In the season 6 finale Welcome to Plathville, Moriah revealed to her brother Ethan that she had gotten back together with her ex-boyfriend. In a shocking moment, Ethan questioned why Moriah would rekindle the relationship after learning the man had a secret girlfriend and child while they were together in the past.

“He turned to me and said, ‘If you’re looking for answers, feel free to call me, send me a message. I’m more than willing to explain things to you and your family,’ she said. “And I accepted his offer, met with him and talked, and now it all makes sense.”

“How do you know he’s honest now?” Ethan asked, to which Moriah replied, “I talked to him for four hours. I knew things he didn’t know and I knew. He explained everything to me, even the parts I didn’t even plan to ask about.”

Ethan wasn’t satisfied with that answer though, so he continued to press Moriah for details.

“You want to be with someone who lied to you from the beginning?” he asked before telling the cameras: “He was the reason me and Mariah didn’t have a relationship for a year. He told her he had no relationship with me.”

He continued, “I’m worried that he will drag Moria away from this family. I am concerned that Moriah will not be treated as she deserves. I don’t know what Moriah sees in this guy.”

In the past, Moriah had told the family that her ex was “a good talker,” Ethan said, before asking how she could be sure what he was saying was true. Moriah then defended her ex, further frustrating Ethan.

“I understand there are a number of reasons why Ethan is upset and reacting the way he is,” she said in her confessional. “I don’t know if one of those things is because he thinks that’s why Ethan and I didn’t have a good relationship for a while, but that’s not necessarily true. The decisions I made and the way I behaved are no one’s fault but my own.”

“Between me, Micah, and Isaac, he doesn’t stand a chance,” Ethan joked.

“I will protect him,” Moriah snapped. “I want him and I want a family one day. Only time will tell what happens, but I’m ready to try.”

Moriah then asked Ethan to meet her ex, but Ethan refused.

“I’m not giving him a chance,” he said. He had his chance a long time ago, and he blew it.

As he got up to go to his birthday lunch, Ethan left his sister with a warning, “Love is blind, Moriah. Be careful.”

Later in the episode, Moriah shares with Ethan that she plans to bring her ex to a concert the next day. After telling her that wasn’t a good idea, Moriah got up and left the table, and Ethan decided to tell the family what was going on.

“That’s fantastic,” said brother Micah as his girlfriend Veronica sarcastically said, “Hold my earrings.”

“What will she say in front of everyone?” Veronica added. “‘Oh, hey, the guy who was so mean to me and manipulated me is back, but, you know, it’s okay.’ How will it go?”

Discussing how to handle the situation, Barry noted, “I don’t think any of us like it, but he’s back in her life.”

“Do you have any bail money?” Ethan teased him, causing his brothers to laugh.

Several siblings then went to find Moriah and tell her not to bring her ex. Tracking her location on their phones, they eventually discovered her in the car with him, forcing her to leave with them.

“This whole thing is boring,” Moriah said as she walked away.

The next morning, parents Kim and Barry decided to talk to Moriah and encourage her to focus on the concert and not her boyfriend.

“I don’t like how yesterday went at all and I was upset about it, but I understand where everyone is coming from and I’m grateful to all of you for looking out for me and caring enough to be angry,” she said. them.

Moriah claimed that she will try to work things out in her relationship, but she did not invite her boyfriend on the show.

“I wish I could tuck my man in, but maybe next time,” she said with a laugh as the episode ended.
