Starting on National Cheeseburger Day, which is September 18, customers can get a Jr. with any purchase. 1 cent Bacon Cheeseburger. The digital offer will be available to people who order through the Wendy’s app and is available until Sunday, September 22
Jr. The Bacon Cheeseburger combines a beef patty, applewood smoked bacon, American cheese, lettuce, tomatoes and mayonnaise. The main menu is offered at a reduced price for other national food holidays, such as National Hamburger Day in May and National Bacon Day in December.

When customers buy a dozen full-price donuts or a 16-pack of mini donuts on Friday, September 13, they can get 12 original glazed donuts for just 13 cents.

Shake Shack is also getting in on the free food, but their deal is in honor of the start of football season.
The burger chain is inviting football fans and chicken sandwich connoisseurs to enjoy a free Chicken Shack sandwich every “Football Sunday” for the next 14 weeks.
From now until mid-December, all fans have to do is order at least $10 worth of food in-store at a kiosk or online through Shake Shack’s website or app. Then enter the code CHICKENSUNDAY and add a Chicken Shack sandwich to your order to get it free.
