What if we told you that they are all the same color?

The stunning image is officially called the Munker illusion and it tricks your eyes in a very clever way.

Basically, the narrow lines trick our brain into seeing different colors.

Professor David Novickwho creates all kinds of optical illusions, he posted a few similar ones on Twitter.

“The illusion is a function of the foreground framing color, which tends to darken the center circle,” he previously explained.

“The apparent color of the center circle is a mixture of the color of the foreground frame and the color of the circle.”

The further away you go, the more the effect works.

If you don’t believe it, there is a way to check it yourself.

Try to enlarge the image and you should notice that they are indeed the same color.
