Take a minute to gaze into the center of the confusing healing web and watch the seemingly broken pieces fall into place.

According to illusion creator Ryota Kanai, these images test your brain’s ability to fill in information from what you’re directly looking atCredit: Ryota Kanai
At first glance, you may notice that the image is a black-and-white grid that is perfect in the center but separated at the outer edges.
However, if you spend some time with the optical illusion, your vision will change and begin to fix the misaligned parts.
The effect also works on the inverse image, which has disconnected parts arranged in the center while perfect lines lie on the outside.
If you stare at the center of this image, the messy bits will slowly spread towards the periphery and overtake the grid.
The healing grid was discovered by Ryota Kanai of Utrecht University in the Netherlands.
In the end, he became a finalist in the competition for the best illusion of the year in 2005.
The illusion seems to indicate that the brain prefers to see regular patterns, so it will change the way you see images.
Kanai and several others later wrote a scientific paper on the illusion.
In the paper, they claim that the brain can reconstruct information based on readily available, detailed visual information.
This ability of the mind can lead to a rich but illusory experience of peripheral vision, the article says.
US Sun shared a few other illusions that can reveal hidden aspects of yourself.
You might have eagle eyes if you can spot a number in 15 seconds.
And based on what you first see in the trippy picture, it could determine whether you’re friendly or emotionally unstable.
