Where to Watch Trolls: How to Stream Every Movie Ahead of Trolls Band Together

In 2016, DreamWorks turned the colorful Trolls dolls into a real sensation with a movie Trolls. In the film, a group of fun-loving trolls who spend their days singing and dancing are kidnapped by a race of giants and very grumpy ogres called Bergens. There are two trolls, Poppy (Anna Kendrick) and Branch (Justin Timberlake), who will save them.

Not only was the film a huge hit, earning nearly $347 million at the box office, but its soundtrack exploded in popularity. The album’s lead single, Timberlake’s “Can’t Stop the Feeling!” it went quadruple platinum in the US and won a Grammy Award. With a hit movie in theaters and a chart-topping song playing on radios everywhere, Trolls became an instant phenomenon.

Since then, Trolls blossomed into a franchise with sequels, holiday specials, video games, books and more. Now Trolls Band together debuts in theaters with a special *NSYNC reunion for the new movie single, “Better Place.”

Trolls (2016)

In the first movie, Poppy and Branch have to rescue the other trolls after they are kidnapped by a Bergen cook (Christine Baranski) who wants to cook them and serve them to other Bergens. The mission takes place with a soundtrack that includes original music and remastered versions of hit songs like “Mo Money Mo Problems” by Notorious BIG and “September” by Earth, Wind & Fire.

As for the story, while the main characters figure out a way to help their friends, the film also includes memorable moments, including the transformation scene of Bridget (Zooey Deschanel). Viewers will recognize famous voices through the project, including Gwen Stefani and James Corden.

Troll vacation (2017)

When Poppy realizes that the Bergens don’t have special holidays, she decides to give them a Troll holiday to get them into the holiday spirit. The original main cast reunited for a 30-minute special that aired on NBC in 2017, the day after Thanksgiving. This time, the gang — now known as the “Snack Pack” — sings renditions of famous songs like “Love Train” by The O’Jays and “Holiday” by Madonna.

Trolls World Tour (2020)

The trolls we know and love are revealed below to be Pop Trolls Trolls World Tour — but there are other troll nations, including Hard Rock Trolls, Country Trolls, and Techno Trolls. Chaos ensues during a rave when the Hard Rock Trolls try to take over the world, and Poppy learns about the six magical strings of the lyre that once united the musical tribes. Despite their differences, she is determined to bring everyone back together with the help of Branch and the rest of the Snack Pack.

Released in April 2020, it was one of the first major films to premiere during the COVID-19 pandemic in the US. Within weeks it was announced that Trolls World Tour grossed over $100 million in digital sales alone, making it the highest-grossing digital release ever.

Trolls: Rest in Harmony (2021)

The trolls are back on special Trolls: Rest in Harmony, in which Poppy planned a village-wide Secret Santa exchange where each troll must buy a gift for someone else. Poppy is thrilled to learn that she drew Branch’s name, and Branch is horrified to learn that he drew her name.

Sticking to his musical roots, Trolls: Rest in Harmony features multiple original songs and a performance of “Sign, Sealed, Delivered I’m Yours” by Stevie Wonder. The cast also expanded with Travis Scott, Kylie Jenner and Carol Burnett lending their voices to new characters.

Trolls Band together (2023)

The trolls are back Trolls Band Together with a touch of inspiration from Timberlake’s real career. After Poppy discovers that Branch was once part of a boy band called BoyZone with his brothers, she is excited to host a family reunion and the search for them ensues. In the process, however, Poppy discovers that she may not be the only one, and is thrown into a whirlwind adventure of her own.

The Trolls Band Together The cast will feature multiple familiar voices for the new film, including Kid Cudi, Troye Sivan and RuPaul. The latest installment in the Trolls franchise will first hit theaters on November 17, 2023, with a digital streaming release date yet to be announced.
