After retiring as a player, he went on to manage the San Diego Padres from 1995 to 2006 and the San Francisco Giants from 2007 to 2019. Terry, Bruce’s sister, quit her job with the US Customs Service to take care of their mother full-time. Bochy’s younger brother, Mark, became a chemical engineer and now lives in Mobile, Alabama.
