Pradhyuman Maloo finally found love after rejecting more than 150 women and failing to find a partner through Indian Matchmaking. Pradhyuman is married to model and actress Ashima Chauhaan. She previously appeared on MTV Love School in 2015 with her then-partner Ali Raza Sheikh. The aim of the show was to help couples solve their relationship problems with the help of love mentors Karan Kundra and Anusha Dandekar. At the time, Ashima, who was only 23 years old, had Ali’s name tattooed on her wrist. Fans discovered that Ali had been cheating on Ashim with three other ladies on a separate MTV program, Ace of Space. After barely a few months of courtship, the now 30-year-old married Pradhyuman on July 12, 2020.

The journey of Pradhyuman in Indian Matchmaker Season 2
Sima Taparia had previously paired Pradhyuman with model Rushali Rai. Despite the fact that their date went well, the couple decided not to go ahead with it and parted ways. Pradhyuman said in Indian Matchmaking Season 2 that he met Ashim at a party where they had a lively conversation about who had the better fashion sense. He also said that he likes Ashima’s vivaciousness and that it puts him in a good mood. Meanwhile, Ashima said she feels like she’s 16 again when he’s around her. Sima Taparia described them as a “promising couple”. Ashima sang a song for Pradhyuman’s friends in front of the camera.

Pradhyuman proposed to Ashim in a secluded villa on the coast barely a few months after they started dating. Fans were also treated to footage of preparations for the ‘big Indian wedding’ in Udaipur. Wedding traditions were strictly followed. In ancient India, bandits stole wedding guests, so Pradhyuman took a sword with him to fight the thieves on the journey. This was introduced in the sixth episode of the new season.
His baraat, or the groom’s wedding procession, is shown to be quite spectacular, with Pradhumana riding an elephant. Sima Taparia, on the other hand, was overjoyed during the wedding and said that meeting a wonderful lady like Ashima was fate. Later, the couple is shown adjusting to married life and making closet space for each other.
What else happened to returning clients on Indian Matchmaking Season 2?
Apart from Pradhyuman, viewers saw Nadia and Aparna trying to meet their future partner. Nadia decided to pursue a serious relationship with Vishal, another of Sima Tapria’s clients, while befriending Shekhar, the gentleman Taparia had set her up with. Vishal, on the other hand, abandoned Nadia, leaving her distraught.
At the same time, Aparna befriended Jay, whom she dated during the first season of Indian Matchmaking. She decided to turn to an astrologer to better understand her love life. Aparna decided to date Daman for a short time. Their journey, however, ended on a cliffhanger when Aparna said that she doesn’t have to make decisions so quickly.
