Who Is Dylan Scott's Wife? All About Blair Robinson

Dylan Scott and his wife Blair Robinson have been lovers since childhood.

The “Nobody” singer and Robinson met in their home state of Louisiana in the seventh grade, and began dating in 2006.

The couple got engaged in December 2015 and married on May 28, 2016. Since then, they have had three children, sons Beckett and Barron and daughter Finley.

The “Livin’ My Best Life” singer credits Robinson and his children for his success in country music. “I joke all the time that I wouldn’t be as successful if it wasn’t for my family,” Scott told PEOPLE in August 2022. “I love that they’re a part of this. And you know, I’m not trying to hold back or hide anything. We’re just a normal family and we don’t try to be anything we’re not and I think people appreciate that.”

Robinson also called her husband her “best friend.” In an Instagram post celebrating their 15th wedding anniversary in 2021, she wrote: “Fifteen years ago today I started dating my best friend… we’ve been through so much together! Lots of ups and downs, first times, new places and more! I can’t wait to see what else is in store for us!”

Scott and Robinson’s love story began when they were in seventh grade, but they didn’t start dating until Scott’s sophomore year in high school in 2006. The couple dated long distance as Scott began his career, and Robinson inspired his 2016 song “My Girl.”

He told Taste of Country 2017: “My wife and I were dating at the time. We were working long distance. She was living in Louisiana and I was in Tennessee. I was going to visit her and we were driving around, and on ‘Lose Yourself’ came on the radio and she started rapping and dancing – here I am, a 21-year-old kid with my girlfriend just rapping and dancing.”

The country artist proposed to Robinson in front of the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree on December 7, 2015. Robinson later shared a photo and details of the proposal on Instagram six years later.

“6 years ago tonight was literally the best night of my life,” she wrote. “It’s my first time in New York, I saw the Christmas tree at Rockefeller Center for the first time… (my dream was to get engaged next to the Christmas tree) and the bonus was that our family got to see it all! My heart still buja, still teary-eyed, and butterflies remembering this night. The only reason I would want to go back to this night is to relive it!”

The couple married on May 28, 2016, in their hometown of Bastrop, Louisiana. Robinson shared photos of their wedding on Instagram, calling it “the best day of my life!”

“The thing I’ve learned the most is to be patient and enjoy it,” Scott told Taste of Country about married life. “Marriage is different than dating. Living with someone is different. Just be patient and talk things out. Remember that [she’s] your best friend and you have to treat her like that.”

Robinson and Scott celebrated eight years of marriage in May 2024. The mum-of-three marked the special day with a post on Instagram, writing: “8 years and forever more with you! Happy anniversary baby!”

They have three children

Scott and Robinson are parents of three children: sons Beckett and Barron and daughter Finley.

Beckett Scott Robinson was born in Nashville on December 12, 2017, and shares his middle name with his father and grandfather.

“Blair and I are so excited that our son, Beckett, arrived today at 5:20 p.m.,” Scott told PEOPLE. “He is a healthy, beautiful baby and we are blessed that everything went well. And Blair is doing great!”

Their second child, Finley Gray Robinson, was born on August 28, 2019. Scott shared the news on Instagram, writing, “Beckett loves his little sister and so does mommy and daddy. Everyone meet Finley Gray,” Scott captioned a photo of himself holding both of his children. “Born today 8 pounds 3 ounces and 20 inches long! I watched my wife do it twice and she is a rock star!!!”

After telling PEOPLE they were “trying hard” to have another child in 2022, the couple announced they were expecting their third child at the ACM Awards in May 2023. Robinson made the announcement on the event’s red carpet, where she wore a strapless black dress which hugs the bumps.

Two months later, the soon-to-be father of three spoke to PEOPLE about how fatherhood has changed him. “Being a dad has grounded me more,” he said. “I feel like it’s made me a better person and my thinking is a little different now. It’s not about me, it’s about us as a family. Being my dad is now my top priority in life, and it used to be music. My kids and family comes first.”

Scott and Robison officially became parents to three children when Barron was born on September 26, 2023.

She inspires Scott’s songs

Robinson wrote many songs about his wife, including his hit single “My Girl.” She also inspired his song “Can’t Have Mine (Find You A Girl)” (featuring Robinson in the music video), as well as his song “Amen to That.”

Robinson also starred with Scott in the music video for his song “Lay Down With You.” Their two children also appeared in the video.

In July 2023, Scott shared a sweet Instagram post of an unreleased song he wrote about Robinson that he found on his phone called “Since You’ve Been Around” about how she changed him.

He has two brothers

Robinson has two younger brothers: Coultor, who served in the Air Force, and Jackson, a trauma paramedic.

In November 2021, Robinson paid tribute to her brother Coulter and cousin Bryan on Instagram for Veterans Day, writing, “Happy Veterans Day to all veterans! Thank you to those who fought and are fighting for our country and our freedom! Here are two veterans I am very thankful for…my younger brother Coultor and cousin Bryan! 💙❤️.”

She supports Scott’s career

Robinson supported Scott’s career from the beginning and even took their children to his concerts. In April 2021, Robinson documented the first time Beckett joined Scott on stage to play with him.

“Beckett’s first night out and I believe it was a success,” she captioned a video from the night. “He told me when he got off the stage, ‘Mom, I’m shaking, they’re shouting my name!’ ”

Scott told PEOPLE in July 2023 that he also values ​​his wife’s opinion before starting a gig. “I always ask my wife for advice: Hey, how does my smile look?” Does my hair look good? I have to manage everything through my wife because she will tell me immediately if something is good or not. That’s what I need,” he shared.
