Survivor Season 43, the highly anticipated season of the highest rated reality competition series, will premiere September 21, 2022 at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT, exclusively on CBS. The Charlie Parsons series will return with eighteen brand new contestants. The 43rd season of the CBS reality series hosted by Jeff Probst. Survivor Season 43 will pull players to their limits over the course of 26 exciting days. The official synopsis for the first episode of Survivor Season 43, titled LIVIN, is as follows:
“Eighteen newly-abandoned people build their own civilization and go on their million-dollar expedition.”
Elisabeth “Elie” Scott, a clinical psychologist from Salt Lake City, Utah, will compete in the 43rd season of Survivor. She is 31 years old and feels that her expertise with PTSD patients will give her the edge in the game and allow her to win. Ever since CBS announced the full cast list for Survivor Season 43, fans have been eager to learn more about Elisabeth “Elie” Scott. So without further ado, get to know contestant Elisabeth “Elie” Scott ahead of the Survivor Season 43 premiere.
In her youth, Elisabeth “Elie” Scott struggled with a lack of confidence.
Elisabeth “Elie” Scott, a 31-year-old contestant from Salt Lake City, Utah, is said to have aspired to star in the hit reality series Survivor since her college days. At the time, she was completely hooked on the reality series, because one of her close friends hooked her up with Michele Fitzgerald. Survivor Season 43 will start with three tribes: Baka (yellow), Vesi (red) and Coco (blue). Elisabeth “Elie” Scott, a contestant, will be a member of the Baka tribe.
In a recent interview with Parade, Scott explained why she’s on the CBS reality competition series:
“I started signing up for Survivor with the intention of only appearing on the show because I loved him. I am a big fan. However, during the audition process, I thought a lot about myself and realized that I had a lot to prove to myself. I’ve doubted my abilities since I was a kid.”
She continued:
“And I guess I wanted to prove to myself that I could step out of my comfort zone and try something new. Because of my career and family structure, I’ve always been in a position to serve people. So this is an opportunity for me to focus on myself and for the first time in my life to put myself first.”
When asked about her favorite moments from previous seasons of the series, she said:
“I have so many great moments from Survivor history. I believe what I just said, where Erik surrendered to his idol and the brilliant Black Widow Brigade staged it. Everyone did an excellent job. It was a real team effort and everyone worked together to create this amazing surprise. But I also like weird and fun events.
She continued:
“Today I remember one time Billy confessed his love for Candice [in the Cook Islands]. And it’s embarrassing to think about us sitting here staring at each other. We weren’t allowed to talk to each other before the game. I can imagine how embarrassing that is. (Laughs.) But it was also a very funny and sweet moment. That happened to me today.”
While discussing how her effort would give her a significant advantage in the game, the participant said:
“I believe my career has prepared me very well for this game. My job is pretty tough. I work with veterans with PTSD. You never know what’s going to happen in the game. any session. Everyone can get PTSD, but each person’s experience with it is unique. As a result, I have to think quickly on my feet. I need to be able to make connections. close contact with individuals the first time you meet them.”
