Eric Gordon News
Veteran NBA guard Eric Gordon has decided to join the Phoenix Suns in free agency, turning down an opportunity with the Golden State Warriors. The Suns offered Gordon a two-year contract with a player option for a second season, something the Warriors were unwilling to accept with minimum contracts.
The financial aspect also played a role, as a multi-year deal would cost the Warriors significantly more due to luxury tax implications. Despite the Warriors’ interest in Gordon for their backcourt, he chose the Suns where he may have a better chance at more minutes. The addition of Gordon bolsters the Suns’ roster, which already features stars like Kevin Durant and Devin Booker.
