Who Is Joe Flacco’s Wife? All About Dana Flacco

Joe Flacco and his wife Dana Flacco met when they were children.

They both grew up in Audubon, New Jersey, where they first met in high school. Joe and Dana dated during college before tying the knot in 2011. Since saying “I do,” they’ve had five children: sons Stephen, Daniel, Francis and Thomas, and daughter Evelyn.

During his career as an NFL quarterback, Joe moved his family from Baltimore to Denver to New York. In December 2023, Dana was on the active roster of the Cleveland Browns, currently heading into the Super Wild Card Weekend playoffs. Joe said the best part of this accomplishment was being able to enjoy the moment with Dan and their children.

“I can’t say it enough, having kids at an age where they understand what’s going on means I’ll remember those things forever,” he said during a postgame conference call in December 2023.

The football player also revealed how fatherhood affected his relationship with Dan.

“The way I spend my off-season has definitely changed. Me and my wife look at each other and wonder what we were doing before we got them, because you’re just wrapped up in those guys,” Joe said in a promotional video for the Baltimore Ravens. “It was a lot of fun.”

In January 2015, they had another son named Francis. After three sons, Dana found out she was expecting a baby girl in September 2016. Evelyn became a big sister in April 2018, when the couple welcomed their youngest son, Thomas.

Despite all the moves in Joe’s career, he and his wife worked together to provide stability and fun for their family.

“They [the kids] they are a really cool age, they want to hang out, they want to throw a ball around. My son brought the ball to the hotel,” Joe said at a press conference in 2023. “There are definitely things like that that you miss. But listen, there’s no better profession than the NFL to spend time with your kids and have them be a part of that.”

Joe’s career has taken his family across the country. In December 2023, when he was promoted to the Browns’ active roster, the family moved for the fourth time since his pro debut in 2008.

The football player was the first pick of the Baltimore Ravens in the 2008 NFL draft. He was then traded to the Denver Broncos in 2019, but was with them for just one year before going to the New York Jets. Joe spent two seasons there, before signing with the Browns in 2023.

Dana does not shy away from giving constructive feedback to her husband when it comes to his work in the field.

During his time with the Ravens, Joe occasionally played both the team’s running back and wide receiver. The NFL star wasn’t particularly interested in the latter position, and according to Dana, it showed.

“My wife crapped on me one day, she told me I need to look more interested out there,” Joe joked during a 2018 press conference, according to ESPN.
