Jordan Steele started his career in 2006 as a production assistant at KUSI Television. Two years later, he began working as a morning reporter and meteorologist for KEPR TV, the Tri-Cities CBS affiliate. Steele resigned from KEPR TV in July 2010. He worked for two years as a special reporter and meteorologist for KMTR-TV in Oregon.
Jordan already has experience providing accurate weather forecasting for KEYE-TV in Austin and surrounding Texas cities. During extreme weather conditions, he provided live updates and worked in 24-hour shifts.
As part of his work, the journalist reported live on Twitter, Facebook and SMS messages CellitStudio. He also hosted the lifestyle show We Are Austin.
Steele joined the King 5 media group as an evening meteorologist and anchor in March 2017. He was employed there until 2020. Steele began serving Quibi as an anchor that same year. His role entailed providing news on entertainment, outdoor events, sports and other topics through the app.
Jordan, on the other hand, works full-time for The Weather Channel as an on-camera meteorologist. Steele won an Emmy as Best Meteorologist in the Northwest. He also received the Edward R. Murrow Award. In 2018, he helped launch the KING-TV show Take 5.
