Kristin originally planned to be a realtor and got her license in Maryland before Kyle was traded to the 49ers. At that moment, Kristin said, she had to reconsider what career path she wanted to take.

“I could really look in the mirror and say, ‘Okay, what do you want to do? Do you want to deal with real estate? Would you like to take this course again?’ “, she told Niners Nation in 2021. “It’s state by state, so I would have to get my license here.”

Ultimately, she decided not to pursue real estate and instead decided to pursue her passion for design.

“Most of my family members are all entrepreneurs, starting their own businesses,” she said. “I always had the support of my family and inspiration from my father and his brothers.”

In 2018, Kristin launched a clothing brand called Origin. Kristin told Niners Nation that her goal with the company was to create unique pieces that could not be found elsewhere.

“I always say don’t go to Origin if you’re just looking for a white T-shirt and plain leggings,” she said. “You go to that signature piece that people ask, ‘Oh my God, where did you get that? It’s so unique.’ That was the overall brand I wanted.”

However, she stopped posting on the brand’s Instagram account in late 2021 and has since moved on to making custom products for NFL fans.

Kristin has created custom 49ers gear for herself for years to wear to her husband’s games, but took her passion to new heights during the 2023-24 NFL season. when she launched her brand Designs By Kristin.

On her website’s About page, Kristin writes that she rediscovered her love of sewing after making Halloween costumes for her and Kyle, which then led her to create her own NFL gear by “upcycling old t-shirts, jerseys, even soccer balls in new designs.”

Kristin began showing off her designs on Instagram, and soon other NFL wives and girlfriends — including Taylor Swift, Simone Biles and Brittany Mahomes — took notice.

In December 2023, Biles wore one of her designs while supporting her husband Jonathan Owens, and a month later, Kristin dressed Swift and Mahomes in matching Chiefs jackets.

Kyle is more than just Kristina’s biggest cheerleader—he’s also sometimes her collaborator. While it may not contribute to making the clothes, it was useful as a model, Kristin said.

“Kyle has definitely put a lot of effort into fashion since he met me. He had a lot of fun with it,” Kristin told Niners Nation. “I ask him for his opinion on many things and he is my role model. I always make him try on everything because I have to make sure it fits him well.”

She added that his career motivation helped her achieve her dreams.

“He inspires me so much because there’s no one I know who loves their job every day,” she said. “That man wakes up with a smile on his face and comes home with a smile on his face… and that makes me want to follow my dreams.”

After Kristina’s designs started making the rounds on social media, Kyle started tweeting on X letting everyone know exactly who was behind the look.

IN quote tweet video when Swift arrived at the game in a jacket, Kyle wrote, “She’s wearing her jacket made by Kristin Juszczyk.” IN another quote tweethe wrote, “She’s an absolute star!”

The next day, he spoke to reporters about how Kristin often puts “20 hours alone” into one jacket and how sometimes when she wakes up at 3 or 4 a.m. she’s still working.

“I’m so proud of her,” he said. “I think she’s extremely talented, and the things she puts out there are unique.”

He added: “I just wanted to make sure he got that credit. At first the announcers said, ‘Taylor Swift can make Nike do anything!’ And I said: ‘Ah, come on! We have to let people know that this is all Kristin.’ I’m really happy to see that she got that credit.”

For her part, Kristin is a regular at Kyle’s 49er games — dressed head-to-toe in custom Niners gear, of course.
