French model Mehdi Edno is just one of ten lucky contestants who will walk through the doors of the iconic Love Island mansion on Monday night for the ultimate summer of love.

Who is Mehdi Edno?
Mehdi Edno is a French model and media manager, who hails from Bordeaux in the southwest of France and spends time between there and London.
Show bosses are said to be hoping the new islander will follow in the footsteps of 2022 winner, Italian steed Davide Sanclimenti, and his tall, dark, and handsome features will make him become the popular choice of the girls in the mansion.

While Mehdi admits he’s been busy with a “heavy schedule” over the past few years, he’s now ready to find his “half”.
“I’ve been busy with work and a master’s degree for the past few years, but now I’m done with my busy schedule and ready to find love,” he says.

As for his plans to get the girls in the villa, he added: “I’m going to start speaking French, which usually interests the girls.”
About her type, the model said: “Looks are important but not everything, a sense of humor and an open and adventurous person is what I am looking for.”
Mehdi boasts more than 6,000 followers on her Instagram page and often shares snaps from her travels. He’s clearly a jet-setter who recently posted pictures from Mauritius and Marrakech.

Maya Jama returns as the host of the summer series and will host the show from a villa in Mallorca, following her South African debut on Love Island earlier this year.
