Misty May began her beach volleyball career alongside Kerri Walsh Jennings, an indoor volleyball player from the 2002 Sydney Olympics.
In 2003, the pair won 90 consecutive games and prevailed in all eight events. This includes defeating reigning champions Brazil in the final. Treanor was also taken by the Kansas City Royals in the 1994 MLB draft while still in high school. Treanor spent a decade in the minor leagues before making his Major League Baseball debut in 2004.
