Sam and Meghan are the happy parents of three daughters: Reese, Rylee and Reagan. The Bulldogs defeated the reigning national champions, No. 9 LSU, 77-73, with strong play on both ends of the floor. The win marked the first time LSU has had back-to-back losses since the 2021-22 season, after losing to No. 1 South Carolina on Thursday. As a result, the Tigers’ record fell to 18-4 (5-3 SEC), while Mississippi State improved to 17-5 (4-3). Purcell summed up the importance of the occasion, saying, “This is everything you dream of. “You live for these moments.”
