Oksana Baiul was born on November 16, 1977 in Ukraine, SSR, Soviet Union. Oksana’s birthplace is famous for Soviet missiles. When she was two years old, her parents divorced. She was raised exclusively by her mother after her parents’ divorce. Her mother was a French teacher. The athlete’s father died in 2006.
