Peter Rosalita from Abu Dhabi, UAE, of America’s Got Talent season 16 fame, was just 10 years old at the time of his audition. He was an immediate hit with both the judges and the crowd. Peter Rosalita, a Filipino, was born and raised in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. He is the only child of his father, Ruel, a chef, and his mother, Vilma, a cashier. Peter has been singing since he was six years old, and his parents have always been supportive. Peter, aged 12, announced his return to America’s Got Talent: All Stars 2023 on Instagram.

Rosalita sang All by Myself by Celine Dion at the tryouts, and his skill astounded the judges. While everyone applauded him, the young participant said that he was shocked to hear his own voice since he was anxious throughout the performance. Rosalita, according to judge Howie Mendel, will go far in this competition, but “Mariah should watch out,” according to Heidi Klum. Simon Cowell said that his high notes gave him shivers and added:
“You have an incredible voice. A fantastic personality. An incredible amount of energy. After this audition, everyone will fall in love with you.”
The little kid got a lot of support from the public and even celebrities such as Celine Dion, who shared his audition video and wrote “Bravo” beside it. Peter Rosalita’s performances on America’s Got Talent Season 16 was outstanding. The judges gave him a standing ovation as he performed Whitney Houston’s I Have Nothing. Klum said that she admired Houston and that he would have made her proud.
Rosalita started the semifinals program by performing Without You by Mariah Carey, despite a hiccup at the start. While listening to the song, Cowell became upset thinking about his kid. His adventure, however, ended at the AGT semi-finals when he did not garner enough votes to go to the finals. After being ousted from the program, Peter Rosalita expressed his dismay, but like any other 10-year-old, he returned to his hotel room and played computer games. He also expressed his emotions to The National, saying:
“I was astonished because I gave it my best in every performance and I was receiving amazing feedback from all the judges and crowds and I was [still] eliminated. But I’m glad I had the opportunity to have that experience.”

Peter Rosalita’s parents were aware of his aptitude as he became more engaged in watching cartoons with music. When he was six years old, he performed in the Indywood Talent Hunt. In January 2021, the young vocalist had his debut solo performance at La Mere Dubai. He was a member of the Dubai Expo 2020 and won the Burjuman Mall’s Rising Star competition in 2019. Peter Rosalita was also asked to sing Loren Allred’s Never Enough on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
On January 2, America’s Got Talent: All Stars 2023 debuted on NBC. Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, and Howie Mandel return as judges, while Terry Crews hosts the event. The Bello Sisters’ acrobatic act opened the big premiere, followed by nine additional performances from AGT’s best-of-all-time. Howie Mandel got the chance to present one of the performances with the Golden Buzzer. He picked The Balance Kids and advanced them to the finals because he was touched by their performance.
