Who Is Robert Saleh’s Wife? All About Sanaa Saleh

Robert Saleh may have his hands full as head coach of the New York Jets, but at home he and his wife, Sanaa Saleh, have quite a team of their own.

The NFL coach and Sanaa got married in 2007 and together they welcomed seven children.

While Sanaa prefers to keep her life private and has no public presence on social media, her husband has been vocal about how much her support means to him.

In an interview for New York Post In 2021, Robert credited his family for motivating his high-pressure career.

“My family. They are my Why. I wake up every morning, kiss my wife, kiss my children, all but one goodbye,” he said when asked what motivates him. “They are the reason why I wake up in the morning to do my best. ”

She runs her own non-profit organization

Sanaa founded her charity, Sanaa’s Stars, in 2019. According to the nonprofit’s website, its mission is to “combat child sexual abuse” while supporting survivors and their families.

“Our team is committed to providing hope and love to the children who have been affected by this devastating experience,” the website said. “We work tirelessly to positively impact the lives of these vulnerable children, partnering with individuals and organizations who share the same passion.”

Robert supported his wife’s efforts, often speaking of the work she does and admiring her philanthropy.

“She just wants to bring light to people who are in a dark place in their lives,” Robert told a senior Jets reporter in an interview. “And the things they do are pretty cool. And the amount of work she put into this is pretty cool.”

They worked together in the campaign

In December 2022, the Jets participated in the NFL’s “My Cause, My Cleats” campaign, where athletes wore custom shoes depicting causes close to their hearts. Robert donned sneakers dedicated to his wife’s charity for the occasion, wearing white Nike Air Force 1 sneakers with blue “Sanaa’s Stars” lettering.

“We have seven kids at home,” Saleh told a Jets reporter. “The fact that she still finds the time to put in the amount of work that she put in to start what she started and how much passion she has for this is just fantastic. So her goal is always my goal and with these shoes we’re supporting Sanaa’s Stars. ”

They were married before Robert became an NFL coach

Sanaa and Robert were married long before he began his NFL career — and another NFL coach even played an important role in their wedding.

Matt LaFleur — who now works as the head coach of the Green Bay Packers — developed a close friendship with Robert while they were both graduate assistants at Central Michigan University and shared an apartment, according to ESPN.

When it came time to choose a best man, Robert chose his former roommate for the job, a gesture he repeated a few years later when he brought LaFleur to the Houston Texans for his first NFL coaching job.

They have seven children

The couple has quite a large family. They are the parents of seven children: sons Adam, Zane, Michael, Sam and Jacob, and daughters Mila and Ella.

One of their children even appeared on HBO Heavy blows, which documented the 2023 preseason for the Jets. Robert and Sana’s son was seen on the sideline cheering on the players during their training.

She is the support wife at Robert’s games

Just as Robert supports her, Sanaa also shows up to cheer on her husband when the Jets play. During a game in September 2023, Sanaa posed with The team Jersey Shore — including Mike Sorrentino, Sammi Giancola, Nicole Polizzi and Jenni Farley — as they watched the Jets play the New England Patriots at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
