Whoopi Goldberg Talks Joys of 'a Good Hit-and-Run' Sexual Encounter: ‘I’m Not There for Conversation'

Goldberg also offered a safe solution for narcissistic men in bed, joking, “If you get an electronic partner, you don’t have to worry about that.”

Turns out, Whoopi Goldberg might prefer a casual one-night stand to a long-term sexual partner!

On Tuesday in the episode Viewthe women discussed the New York Post article linking a person’s ability to be “good in bed” to narcissistic tendencies. As the group discussed how long it would take to “cure” a narcissist before jumping into the bedroom, Goldberg admitted that she didn’t care about her partner’s self-obsession.

“Look, a good hit-and-run is a good hit-and-run. 90 percent of the time I’m not there to talk,” she shrugged as her co-host Joy Behar agreed.

Joy Behar recalls meeting her husband in the Nudist Colony: ‘He was naked, I wasn’t’

For most women, one man is not enough,” explained Behar. “We need two guys: we need a narcissist who’s good in the sack and a man who can take out the trash. I don’t mind having a narcissist, but I won’t marry them. But great for the night.”

When Alyssa Farrah Griffin admitted to imagining narcissists in bed like “Patrick Bateman in American Psycho,” Goldberg offered a fail-safe solution to a partner who might be a little too into himself.

“You know, if you get an electronic partner, you don’t have to worry about that. Because they’re good when the batteries are working and they’re not when the batteries are dead,” she joked.

This is not the first time Sister Act the star openly talked about her sexual experiences.

When the ladies discussed polyamory during last month’s episode ViewGoldberg encouraged her fellow moderators to be more open to the idea of ethical non-monogamy.

“You have to expand your arena to the people you know,” she said at the time. “Because these are not just sleepy little towns. Look, if you can do more than one thing at a time, you can have a polyamorous relationship. ALRIGHT? If you can chew gum and walk, you can be more than one person.”

After Sunny Hostin told Goldberg that it seemed like you were “speaking from experience,” she responded, “If I do, it’s because I’m so good.”

Goldberg has also previously expressed satisfaction with her single life. “People keep saying, ‘Well, you’re going to find someone,’” EGOT winner Tamron Hall said in 2019. “I’m not looking for anyone. I am very happy. I don’t want to live with anyone.”

She added that after three marriages, she did not want to get married to another person.

“When you make a commitment to someone else, it’s a commitment to ask their opinion, listen and work it out with them,” she said. “I don’t want to do that. I don’t want to share money. I know it’s scary, but I don’t want to do it.”
