Los Angeles Sparks star Cameron Brink was completely surprised when her boyfriend Ben Felter got down on one knee while she was in Paris for Fashion Week, PEOPLE confirms.
“Yes to every life 🤍♾️,” 22-year-old Brink wrote on Instagram, along with photos of Felter’s proposal in front of the Eiffel Tower.

The proposal took place at the Shangri-La Paris hotel after Brink attended the Balenciaga fashion show – and she had no idea her longtime boyfriend was even coming to Paris. (Felter, who had just started his fifth year as a graduate student in Stanford’s computer science program, told her he had work to do on the West Coast.)
The couple, who have been dating for nearly four years, first met when Felter was a rower at Stanford, where Brink was also a star on the basketball team.
They started dating on March 10, 2021, and although they keep their relationship mostly private, they celebrated their third anniversary last March with sweet posts on Instagram.

“Three years together, a day to celebrate the soul that makes me whole ❤️,” Felter posted.
Brink also posted a picture of the two for their three-year anniversary, writing, “3 years with you. Plus qu’hier, moins que demain.” (More than yesterday.)
After graduating in 2024, Brink signed with the Sparks as the second pick in the WNBA draft and will make her professional debut next month. However, her strong rookie season was cut short after she tore her ACL in June.
Felter, who was a two-time IRCA Scholar-Athlete at Stanford, also studied computer science, and began working at the Defense Innovative Unit in 2022 as a part-time portfolio analyst.

The LA-based couple like to be active together. The two enjoyed days at the beach together, as well as hiking, and Felter even taught Brink to surf.
In June 2024, Brink told PEOPLE that Felter also turned her into a “huge art lover.”
“I love ceramics and watercolor, even though I’m terrible,” she said. “It’s really nice to just sit down and do some brain work in a different way,”
