In a new documentary titled Chris Brown: A History of Violencemultiple women have come forward to describe their alleged experiences with the R&B singer, including Jane Doe who claims he raped her in 2020, which his lawyers denied in the documentary.
“Even when I came forward as Jane Doe, some people still found out who I was,” says the anonymous woman, adding that she received death threats after the incident. “By coming out with this now, I just hope I can shed some light on what really happened.”
Doe says in the document that she had just moved to Los Angeles to pursue her dance career when she went on a trip to Miami with a friend in December 2020. While there, she claims she received a call from someone she knew on December 30 who invited her to Sean “Diddy” Combs’ yacht.
When she arrived, Doe realized Brown, 35, was there and thought it was a “sign” that “he might be able to help me or guide me or give me some advice,” she claims.
“We talked and he gave me a drink. I’m not even sure… that’s when my memory starts to get a little weird,” she claims. “I don’t remember if I saw him pouring, but I just drank it, and he just hands me another drink. As I stood there, I started to feel tired and my body felt a little heavy.”
In the documentary, Brown’s lawyers say Doe’s claims are completely fabricated. A representative for Brown did not respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.
An attorney for Combs — who is currently in jail facing charges of racketeering, sex trafficking and transportation for prostitution — declined to comment.
Doe claims Brown then brought her into the bedroom. “I remember lying there and wondering, ‘Why can’t I get up?’ The next thing I know he was on top of me and I couldn’t move and I said ‘No’ and then I felt him… the next thing I knew he was inside me,” Doe tearfully recounts, claiming he ejaculated inside her. – It was so disgusting to me.

She then claims he grabbed her phone and texted himself: “I think most girls would be happy… I didn’t want that. This is not what I wanted,” she says.
After the alleged incident, Doe continued to speak with the “Run It” singer to get “more clarity,” she says. Only when she went to therapy, as she claims, did she come to terms with the fact that she called the incident a sexual assault.
“I know it for sure. Instead of telling myself it wasn’t. It was. It was rape,” she claims.
Doe says in the filing that her legal team approached her to build a case, but a judge ultimately dismissed the case “without prejudice” in 2022, citing a “lack of prosecution,” according to court documents obtained by PEOPLE. Her lawyers dropped her when police discovered text messages between her and Brown after the incident, Rolling Stone previously published.
However, PEOPLE confirms that one of Doe’s attorneys, Ariel Mitchell-Kidd, is re-representing her. In a statement, Mitchell-Kidd said: “I adore my client and believe that what happened to her is 100% true. I feel that I failed her as a lawyer by not being able to make her comfortable enough with me in such a short period of time that she felt 100% comfortable being accommodating with me.”

Elsewhere in the documentary, another woman named Liziane Gutierrez talks about an alleged experience with Brown in 2016 (watch the exclusive clip below). Gutierrez claims she was invited back to his Las Vegas hotel room after one of his shows and he allegedly punched her in the face.
“When I saw Chris Brown, he was acting strange. Extremely strange. And then I decided to grab my phone and take a picture of it,” she claims in the documentary. “When I took the phone, he saw me with the phone. Chris Brown punched me in the face. His security grabbed my phone and they escorted me out of the party… I’m not saying what I did with my phone was right. I know that, but that doesn’t give you the right to punch me in the face.”
A representative for Brown did not respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment regarding Gutierrez’s claims.
Gutierrez sued Brown in February 2016. In September 2017. TMJ reported that the two had settled the case privately.
Chris Brown: A History of Violence chronicles years of abuse allegations against the “Forever” singer, who has a long history of legal trouble. The singer was accused of the attack by several people, most notably by ex-girlfriend Rihanna.
After the incident with Rihanna on February 9, 2009, he was charged with criminal assault and criminal threats in March of that year; three months later he pleaded guilty to the crime. He later accepted a plea deal of community service, five years of probation and domestic violence counseling.
In January 2013, Rihanna confirmed that they were back together; however, the exes parted ways for good three months later.
Brown entered rehab in 2013 to deal with his substance abuse and anger. In 2017, his ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran was granted a five-year restraining order after she shared threatening text messages in court and alleged that he physically abused her.
