The photo has been shared by more than 718,000 people on Reddit’s Find The Sniper forum.
“Find the two dogs in this photo,” said the user, writing under the tag Maryapc.
It’s easy to get distracted admiring nature when you take the dogs for a walk on the beach.
However, the brain teaser is a reminder not to take your eyes off the dog for too long.
Many people admitted that they were confused by the challenge and only managed to find one of the two dogs.
“The second dog took me SO long and I had to zoom in so close [laughing]”, one person said.
“I never knew how much a dog could look like a rock until today… and I’m convinced there’s only one dog in this photo,” commented another.
“I saw the first one; of course I thought, ‘I got this!’ And there was no other anywhere!” said the third.
A fourth Redditor begged for tips because he said the challenge was “driving me crazy!”
“I found one dog, at this point I’m just assuming the other dog took the picture,” joked another.

At first glance, the photo appears to show snow on the ground behind a group of leafless trees.
You’ll need the ability to pay attention to detail to find the lynx in 30 seconds or less.
One person said the wild animal was “like a ghost” because they hadn’t been able to spot it, while another said she would “never” have spotted it in her yard.
If you need a clue, note that the lynx has grayish-brown fur similar to tree branches.

Since lynxes can jump up to 10 feet in the air, the wily animal managed to climb a high tree branch towards the center of the photo.
Even the most cryptic puzzlers failed to find the animal hiding in the third challenge shared on Reddit.

The bright green moss on the tree bark is obvious, while the mischievous animal is camouflaged.
One person said it took them “a good while” to find the animal, while another chimed in saying “This is great camouflage here.”
Here’s a hint: The creature is towards the middle of the photo.
