Zayn Malik Says His ‘Foot Is Fine’ After It Was Run Over by Car in Paris: ‘Incredibly Well Made Shoes’

Zayn Malik is thankful for his “incredibly well-made shoes.”

The “Vibeza” singer, 31, shared the news with fans on Instagram on Friday — shortly after a video surfaced on social media showing Malik’s foot being run over by a car in Paris.

“@kenzo @nigo Thanks for the great show,” Malik wrote on Instagram, following Kenzo Fall/Winter 2024 at Paris Fashion Week. “My foot is fine!! Thanks to my incredibly well made shoes 😂👍🏼.”

In the post, the One Direction student shared a photo of himself with his (back) signature, a picture of the inside of the fashion show itself, and a photo of his white Kenzo sneakers with black scuff marks.

Malik’s promotional announcement came shortly after a video went viral showing the musician reacting to his leg being allegedly stepped on. In the video, Malik was surrounded by bodyguards and fans as he made his way through crowds of people on the streets of Paris.

The car then drove past Malik, and the musician stopped walking to look down and appeared to startle. Security then quickly whisked the “Tu hai kahan” singer to his car.

For the show itself – and in the resulting viral clip – Malik wore a patterned two-piece blue suit and white button-down shirt while he was sat by fellow musician Rita Ora.

As for his hair, he opted for his signature black spike with blonde highlights – which he notably rocked during his 1D days.

The musician, who has a 3-year-old daughter Khai with ex Gigi Hadid, also opened up about fatherhood in a rare 2023 interview. Call her dad.

“Since I had my daughter, the main thing in my mind is to be a good example for her,” he said at the time.

“That’s why I’m doing this interview in the first place, you know? I used to be very anxious about having this conversation. And I want her to be able to look at me and say, ‘My dad does that.’ ‘”
