Zayn Malik Unveils Dramatic New Look Featuring Long Beard — See the Video!

Zayn Malik has joined the beard club!

The singer, 31, surprised fans when he appeared with a new look that included a full beard in a video posted to Instagram on Friday (August 23).

Malik looked significantly different as he sported his new beard, sideburns and longer hair while wearing a cream shirt and matching trousers. In the clip, he sat and sang an acapella version of his song “Shoot At Will” from his latest album The room under the stairs.

The bearded look is a striking departure from the British singer’s signature look of shorter cropped hair with a hint of stubble.

“Your hair 🥹 I’m dying…… 😩,” one follower commented, while another added, “I wasn’t ready😆.”

“Give me a hair care routine because your hair grows so fast,” said a third.

Malik’s barber, Mike Webb Jr., joked in the comments, “That’s a man who explores the world and is loyal to his barber 😅,” while a follower replied to Webb, “Please don’t cut his hair – we want long- hair Zayn.”

Malik’s latest transformation comes after his landmark concert in London in May.

The singer appeared in a much more dressed-up look as he performed at London’s Shepherd’s Bush Empire for his first solo show and first concert since leaving One Direction in 2015.

Malik performed several songs from his latest album, The room under the stairswhich was released the same month, for the first time for fans.

In a post shared on Instagram after the landmark performance, Malik wrote: “It’s been 8 days since I performed at London’s O2 SBE … my first performance in over 8 years. The amount of outpouring of love and support I felt left me speechless. All I can say is thank you and I can’t wait to see you all again.”

“I am forever grateful to each and every one of you who have supported me over the years and made this possible. See you again soon xx Z,” he added.
