Zoë Kravitz Is All About the Glamour in Plunging Velvet Gown (with a Huge Bow!) at 2025 Golden Globes

Zoë Kravitz brought her signature style to the 2025 Golden Globes.

The actress, who is hosting this year’s awards, walked the red carpet in a floor-length black velvet Saint Laurent dress with a plunging neckline and a huge cream-colored bow around her waist that trailed behind her. She added strappy leather shoes also from the house.

She added a bit of sparkle with diamond earrings and kept her look otherwise simple – her hair was slicked back into a tight bun.

The actress recently split from Channing Tatum after three years together and an engagement in 2023. Despite the breakup, the exes are still set to star alongside each other in Alpha Gang, which is according to Deadline, will begin filming this spring.

In one of her first public outings since her breakup, Kravitz was spotted leaving dinner at Chez Margaux with Taylor Swift and comedian Jerrod Carmichael. The actress wore an off-white slip dress paired with black tights and black heels under an oversize black coat.

Kravitz has long been known for her simple, polished style. She often wears plain black dresses. It’s become known as her “red carpet uniform,” and the actress always finds a way to give a classic look a new twist.

On her Instagram stories in December, Kravitz did just that. She wore a black halter dress with a deep V-neckline, criss-cross straps and an open back. She finished the look by styling her hair in loose romantic waves and going natural glam with bold brows and bare lips.

In the video, which appeared to have a “Baddies Cam” filter, Kravitz looked directly into the camera and struck a sultry pose.

A few days earlier, Kravitz appeared on the red carpet of the 2024 Gotham Awards in New York on December 2, where she disrupted the line of her dark dress. Instead, she opted for a dusty pink strapless dress, which was ruffled around a diamond shape placed on her stomach. The floor-length dress had two cutouts, one on either side of her waist, and a long, thin scarf in the same shade of pink draped over Kravitz’s collarbone.

She again opted for a softly glamorous makeup look, this time leaving her straight hair loose and pairing the look with diamond earrings. Arms exposed, Kravitz’s delicate tattoos were on full display.
