On the other side of the pond, the BAFTA awards highlight the best films of the year.
A doctor who is alum David Tennant is hosting the 2024 EE BAFTA Film Awards on Sunday at the Royal Festival Hall in London. The awards ceremony, which is considered the British equivalent of the Oscars, is broadcast live in the US via BritBox International.
As with this year’s Oscar nominations, Oppenheimer led with the most nods, 13 in total. Poor people follows with 11 nominations.
