9-Month Cruise Passenger Says It’s 'Bizarre’ to Be Returning to Land as Voyage Ends in Less Than a Week

A celebrity passenger on the Ultimate World Cruise reflects on her final week of the epic round-the-world voyage.

dr. Jenny, who goes by drjennytravels on TikTok, documented the highs and lows of the entire trip and gained a loyal following in the process. Now, with less than a week to go on the epic cruise, she is opening up about how “bizarre” it is to see the end of the voyage after almost nine months at sea.

“Look at this,” she says in a TikTok shared on Tuesday, September 3. Pointing to the sign on the cabin door, he continues: “Seven more days. This is in my World Cruise lounge and as you can see — look at all the luggage here.”

She moves down the hall to discover more suitcases stacked against the walls before continuing.

A 9-month round-the-world cruise is almost over, and one of its famous passengers is feeling conflicted

“The reason people are carrying their luggage outside is because we’re arriving in New York tomorrow. Tomorrow we will return to the United States,” she says in disbelief.

After a stop in New York, The Serenade of the sea it has only two more destinations, Bermuda and the Bahamas, before it returns to its final destination in Miami – the same place it started from almost nine months earlier, on December 10, 2023.
